West Nile Virus Death Reported Locally

Even though the cold weather has scared off most of the mosquitoes, another Mississippian has died of West Nile virus and this time it’s someone from the local area.  The State Health Department says the eighth person to die from the disease this year was from Neshoba County, where two cases of West Nile have been reported.  Statewide, 57 Mississippians have been infected in 25 counties.
