The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left two women dead.
According to authorities, the shooting happened at a home on Emory Road outside of Durant at 1:30 pm Tuesday, April 25.
Sheriff Willie March said the this is the fifth and sixth homicide in Holmes County in the month of April.
