A cold front moving into this area late Tuesday could trigger some heavy rain and storms with a limited threat of localized flash flooding. There’s a Level-1 “marginal” risk of isolated severe storms with damaging winds across western Mississippi including western Holmes County. The National Weather Service says a brief tornado can’t be ruled out in those areas.
